La Grange
Welcome to historic La Grange ("The Barn"), a unique 4-star bed & breakfast nestled on the edge of Gatineau Park. We are located in the charming town of Wakefield, only 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa.
La Grange, a beautifully restored 1898 barn, provides a peaceful retreat from your stressful life. Unlike most B&Bs, guests of La Grange enjoy the use of separate living quarters, including welcoming lounge with fireplace, sunny dining room, modern kitchen facilities, wireless internet access, and huge backyard.
Wake up early and enjoy the quiet of the morning or sleep in and lounge in our luxurious bedrooms, uniquely decorated with art from around the world. Whenever you choose to get out of bed, you will be greeted with a delicious and healthy breakfast. When you've eaten your fill, spend the day exploring the trails of the Gatineau Park, a five minute walk from our front door, or instead wander into Wakefield's artists' boutiques, shops and cafes along the Gatineau River.
Whatever your interests, activities abound steps from our front door. From winter snow sports, to summer water sports, and everything in between, La Grange is the ideal destination for outdoor recreation.

Dine at one of Wakefield's charming restaurants or make the 20 minute drive to downtown Ottawa and choose from hundreds of options. After dinner you are invited to warm yourself by our fire, either in the B&B lounge, or around the fire pit in our garden. For the more energetic, put on your dancing shoes and head to the nearby Black Sheep Inn, Wakefield's famous live music venue.
